IITC has a New San Francisco Office

San Francisco, CA: In Mid-June 2023, the International Indian Treaty Council was very excited
to move to a beautiful new office space. The office is located on Folsom between 17th and
18th Streets. IITC is pleased to be back in the Mission District, designated by the City of San
Francisco as the “American Indian Cultural District” in 2020. The mailing and physical address
of the new office is 2169 Folsom St. M303, San Francisco CA, 94110.

IITC has had an office in San Francisco since 1979 which serves as the base for our work with
Indigenous Peoples and community members in San Francisco and the Bay Area, as well as for
support of California Tribal Nations. Radley Davis representing the Pit River Tribe is the Vice
President of IITC’s Board of Director.

The San Francisco Office has also served as the focal point for organizing IITC’s two annual
Sunrise Gatherings on Alcatraz Island for over 40 years. Since 2018 IITC has also co-hosted
San Francisco’s Indigenous Peoples Day Commemoration at Yerba Buena Gardens
immediately following the October Indigenous Peoples Day Sunrise Gathering. In 2023 the IPD
events will be held on October 9th.

The office phone number will stay the same: +(415) 641-4482. The general email for the office
is still [email protected].

To make an appointment to visit IITC’s new office, please contact IITC’s San Francisco Office
Manager Janeen Antoine to make an appointment via the office phone number, her cell phone
(510) 435-9116 or her email, [email protected].

Indigenous Peoples Day Commemoration log onto IITC’s web site, www.iitc.org, email IITC’s
California Tribal and Community Liaison Morning Star Gali at [email protected], or
leave a message at the office.

IITC thanks the American Indian Cultural Distinct and the South of Market Cultural Center
(SOMARTS) for hosting our San Francisco office at Ft. Mason after we left the Redstone
Building in 2021 while we were looking for a new home.
