Event Update: 2017 Annual Indigenous People’s Sunrise Gatherings, Alcatraz Island, San Fransisco

Over 1200 people joined us this year for the annual Indigenous People’s Sunrise Gathering on Alcatraz Island on October 9th.

Activities included the Olhone Welcome, All Nations Drum, Intertribal Olhone-Pomo dancers and updates on protecting sacred lands and pipeline struggles across Turtle Island. Honoring Alcatraz Veterans and other special presentations.
