Indigenous Heritage Program 2017

16-17 November, Hosted by Indigenous studies, University of Helsinki
The conference will have eight themes dealing with indigenous peoples’ cultural heritage. Each session will run as a panel discussion. The chair will briefly introduce the topic and the invited speakers who will have an opportunity to speak for a maximum of 10 minutes. The floor will then be open to a discussion and questions. The final 5 minutes of the session will be devoted to a summary from the chair.
The conference will end with recommendations for policy makers and practitioners.
IITC’s Andrea Carmen will participate as a panelist in the conference
