“Due to the inclement weather and unrelentless hurricane season in the Caribbean, the International Indian Treaty Council (IITC) and the United Confederation of Taíno People (UCTP) have decided to postpone the Environmental Health Workshop in Borikén (Puerto Rico) that was to be held in the town of Peñuelas from October 28 -29th, 2017. We expect to be holding within the first trimester of 2018.
IITC and UCTP will like to take this moment to dedicate our thoughts and prayers to all the people in the Caribbean who have been affected by these hurricanes and those who are still in the path of those approaching.”
“Debido a las inclemencias del tiempo y la implacable temporada de huracanes en el Caribe, el Consejo Internacional de Tratados Indios (CITI) y la Confederación Unida del Pueblo Taíno (CUPT) han decidido posponer el Taller sobre Salud Ambiental en Borikén (Puerto Rico) que iba a tomar lugar en el pueblo de Peñuelas desde el 28 al 29 de octubre de 2017. Esperamos llevarlo a cabo dentro del primer trimestre del 2018.
