Global Online Consultation: SDGs under review at the 2022 High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF)

 

This global online consultation will compile inputs from all stakeholders, from different sectors and regions, on the SDGs under review during the 2022 HLPF.

The online consultation will also serve to improve stakeholders’ access to information and promote broad and participatory engagement on the follow up and review of the 2030 Agenda implementation. It will complement and feed into other on-going processes for the SDG-specific reviews, including Expert Group Meetings (EGMs) being organized by DESA and sectorial papers prepared by major groups and other stakeholders (MGoS). Although EGMs will also allow for direct participation by MGoS representatives, the online consultation will facilitate for broader engagement of stakeholders and expert input.

 

Format and Structure

 

The online consultation will be open to all interested stakeholders, including MGoS, through dedicated online forms (please, see below). A limited number of questions will be proposed for each SDG under review and stakeholders will be invited to contribute concise and focused inputs.

Deadline for submission is 11 March 2022.

 

Outcomes

 

Contributions will be made publicly available at a dedicated page. A summary of key messages will be prepared by DESA and will be broadly disseminated in the lead up to the HLPF to all participants.
