These films tell part of the story of the effects and heroic resistance largely on Native American lands to
uranium extraction industries. Nuclear materials affect the environment and nuclear war threatens the
planet. A UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons signed by 122 nations in July 2017 is gaining
momentum world wide to end nuclear war ever again. Physicians for Social Responsibility is committed
to the mission of abolishing nuclear weapons, addressing climate change and health effects of toxic
chemicals in environment. To this end PSR-AZ is working locally on “Back From The Brink” campaign.
