International Indian Treaty Council Annual Indigenous Peoples Thanksgiving Sunrise Gathering

Yelamu, Ohlone Territory (San Francisco California)

Boats will depart Pier 33 at 4:15am, 4:30am, 4:45am, 5:00am, 5:15am, 5:30am, 5:45am, and 6:00am. 

The ticket booth opens at 3:00 am on Thursday, November 25, 2021.  General admission is $14.00 per person. Children under 5 are free.

The event will be broadcast live beginning at 5:30 AM on KPFA 94.1 FM, online at http://www.kpfa.org. A simultaneous livestream will be posted on IITC’s Facebook page.  

Wheelchair accessible, no drugs or alcohol permitted on the island.

All participants, regardless of vaccination status, need to  wear masks or cloth face coverings. Six feet of distancing should be maintained as much as possible, even outdoors.

There is absolutely no sale of merchandise of any kind allowed on Alcatraz Island, the Pier 33 Alcatraz Landing or sidewalk due to COVID-19 safety protocols.
